The game starts by giving you a virtual million pounds and challenges you to keep as much of it as you can whilst answering 8 multiple choice questions.
As each question appears, quickly place your money on the answer (or answers) of your choice. If you don’t know an answer you can split your money across the ones that you think might be right.
However, with each question you must place all your remaining money and you must always leave at least one trapdoor clear.
You are given 60 seconds to answer each question, but if you’re happy with your answer then you can press the "Stop the Clock" button in order to receive a time bonus – the faster you answer, the bigger the bonus!
When the answer is revealed, only the money placed on the correct answer will be safe and go forward for the next question. Money placed on incorrect answers will fall through the trapdoors and will be lost forever. If you lose everything, the game is over!
The goal is to have as much money as possible left by the end of the game.
