It is NOT required to upload your contact book in order to use CallApp.
Only if you explicitly enable it, your contacts will be uploaded and stored. CallApp will NOT let anyone search for people by their name or by any phrase. Searching by names will be limited to businesses and organizations. We have taken the necessary precautions to securely store and protect your data from any unauthorized access. CallApp does not share your contact book with 3rd party and/or other users.
Your social info displayed to other people is subjected to the restrictions and permissions that you have defined in your accounts. CallApp will NOT post anything to your profiles and will NOT send invites without authorization. CallApp will not store login credentials on its servers; those are only stored locally on your phone.
You can unlist your number from by logging onto www.callapp.com/unlist and CallApp will not search the Universal Contact Book for your phone. (NOTE, however, that your phone will still be searched in public and open directories).
Like other Communication apps on Google Play, CallApp requires a range of permissions to ensure smooth and seamless integration with your phone that will provide you with the best calling experience.
